Yeah I hate the transitions (getting from one place to another). I sqaw BRILLANT sock suggestion the other day – for each child buy 6 pairs the saem socks (e.g. Child 1 gets 6 pairs green socks all the same, child 2 gets 6 pairs blue socks all the same etc) – then you’ll always be able to find two that match.

I always love the holidays when everyone can play in P-jays and enjoy each other’s company without any pressure to get out the door for the bell. With the finer weather this week my girls have been playing out in the garden with such delight that I feel so cruel having to break their wonderful play to do the school run.

This morning they were setting up a treasure hunt round the house and garden and my youngest really wanted to finish it before we left… I was practically standing over them with a stopwatch to ensure they sprinted from one clue to the next and got in the car just on time! :)
